Book Review: Faithful Place
Faithful Place by Tana French
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
You ever read a book and enjoy it but can’t really put into words why you did. That is kinda where I am at with this book.
I liked it. I recommend it, but I don’t really have the 1 or 3 points of why.
There is a mystery element of who done it. I like mysteries.
There is family drama. Family drama is always good for a story.
There is failed marriage and divorce with child that has many questions still not quite answered. The dynamics of family life are interesting.
All that mixed into a story of the past. What could have been. What might have been. Past unknowns that shaped the future in more ways than anyone really knew.
Does that sound interesting to you? Then the book will be something you like. The characters are described beautifully and really come to life. The dynamics between the families are real and relatable. The mystery unfolds and provides lots of interest.
I enjoyed escaping into Faithful Place and will be back to try more of the author for sure.
